I'm John Biesty, a skilled Carpet Fitter and Retailer with over 30 years experience in the industry. Over thirty years ago I began learning my trade within Allied Carpets in Manchester, where my career eventually led me to a number of diverse roles within their headquarters at Birmingham.
I quickly realised that customers could benefit from the improved service and lower costs provided by a local trader rather than the expense and overheads associated with a large retailer. As a result of this I set up my own store in Salford where I successfully traded for a number of years before evolving to offer customers a "Choose-at-Home" service.
